Vernal Pools Workshop

Herman Vogler Conservation Area Rogers City, Michigan

Northeast Michigan Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative partners, Michigan Natural Features Inventory (MNFI) and the Presque Isle Conservation District, are collaborating for a vernal pool teacher training event. Registration is required. Space is limited to 30 people to minimize impact on the pool monitored during the training.

An Environmental Justice Framework : Helping Students Understand (in)Equitable Human / Environment Interactions

This professional development workshop is designed to enhance understanding of the interactions between social and environmental systems in our communities and how to integrate those concepts into the classroom. LSSI Summer Institute
