Groundswell Summer Institute: PBSE 101
The Groundswell Stewardship Initiative summer institute will lead educators through the six elements of a place-based education with the goal of empowering attendees to implement an awesome experience back at their schools.
During this immersive workshop, participants will:
- Explore PBSE through hands-on learning experiences
- Learn the foundations of PBSE and how to implement an action project with Groundswell
- Meet fellow educators who are passionate about outdoor learning!
Summer Institute is open to any preK–12 educators or community partner organization in Kent or Ottawa Counties. Participants are expected to commit to all three days of the institute and can receive 15–20 SCECHs upon completion of the institute.
